Why the search is strict
A surname should not match inside a location or a longer unrelated word. The manual search uses whole-name patterns and recognises common surname-first formats such as “BELL, John”.
Why results are called potential matches
Names are not unique identifiers. Date of birth and private notes can help your own review, but court lists often do not publish enough information to confirm identity.
Supported jurisdictions
Queensland Magistrates Courts are the principal live lower-court coverage. Other jurisdictions are only enabled when their public access method, reliability and commercial-use conditions are suitable.
