1

Add watchlist names

Enter first, middle and last names, plus optional aliases. One person uses one slot even when alternate spellings are attached.

2

Collect published lists

The Azure scheduled job rediscovers enabled sources, downloads new or changed lists and stores readable text in PostgreSQL.

3

Run strict matching

Exact whole-name and alias matching is applied first. Similar-name matching is constrained by surname and first initial to reduce false positives.

4

Review potential matches

Each result includes the published source, list date, matched text and excerpt. Customers confirm or dismiss the result themselves.

5

Scan historical archives

A button on the watchlist queues a background scan across past stored documents. Historical matches are labelled and do not send a flood of old alerts.

Important limitation

A name match does not prove identity, guilt, conviction or outcome. Court lists can change and may omit suppressed or protected matters.
