What Daily Court List can — and cannot — tell you.
Is a potential match definitely the same person?
No. A name alone is not sufficient to prove identity. Review the source and verify independently.
Does a court-list appearance mean guilt or conviction?
No. It only records that a matter was listed. The person may be a party, applicant, respondent, defendant or involved in another capacity, and no outcome is implied.
How often are lists checked?
The production schedule is configured for weekdays at 6am, 7am, 8am, 9am, 10am, noon and 2pm in Australia/Brisbane time.
Can I scan old court lists?
Yes. The watchlist page can queue a historical scan across past documents held in the service archive. Progress is displayed on the page.
Will an archive scan send old SMS alerts?
No. Historical matches are stored and labelled for review, but archive scans do not send a flood of retrospective email or SMS notifications.
Are suppressed matters included?
No. Suppressed, protected or non-public matters may be omitted or shown only as “suppressed”. The service must not attempt to reveal protected information.
Which states are supported?
Queensland and selected NSW downloadable lists are live. ACT, Tasmania and Northern Territory connectors remain disabled pending permission and technical validation. WA is not automated under current eCourts conditions.
